 WHAT CAN BE DONE TO EDUCATE THE SOCIETY ABOUT LGBTQ COMMUNITY

We are living in the 21st century where we enjoy all kinds of freedom. People are free to do what so ever they want to do. Accepting all new kinds of technology, accepting the fact that yes many people live in their own style of living. But still when people here the term "LGBTQ" they are like is this even a thing ? Many people don’t even know about this term. People find it hard to understand. In many urban parts of the world people are understanding this thing through social media platforms and online awareness programs. But still in rural parts of the world people are not much aware about this thing. 

Some Ways to create awareness amongst people-: 

i] Schools -: the place where each and every person of any age gains knowledge. When a kid is taught about everything that is essential for life. There should to particular classes that'll give the students knowledge about this community. They should to taught that this is a normal thing and there is nothing bad about it. Two or three people who belong to this community can come to the schools and tell their stories so that they can inspire the kids that they don’t have to be scared about this thing and accept their identities.

ii] Normalize things at workplace -: there should be a day at the workplaces where the all people to sit down and talk to the people of this community who work there. They can also say about the discrimination they face at work place and outside in the society. By this many people can know their pain and try to understand them. 

iii]  Run campaigns -: by running campaigns and going place to place to spread the information can really help. Making posters and posting them in the society can help a lot. A large number of people can gain knowledge by this. 

iv] Help friends -: if any one or two of your friends are gay or lesbian or bisexual etc. you can understand them and help other people understand them. You can stand by their side and motivate them. 

v] Through social media -: there should be more use of social media. Memes can be used that contain information. Use of blog posts can help. Videos can be uploaded of the people from this community so that the message can be conveyed easily. 

vi] Short films can be made -: short pictures can be made which contain various information about this community. 

I would like to mention that the key to awareness is by talking. The more people talk about this community they more people will get aware. Lack of communication may lead to many problems. Many people in the world face the problem of coming out in front of their family and friends as gays or lesbians. These people should motivated. People should not treat them as they are some weirdos. This thing can be only resolved once the people start talking about this community.  Awareness can even be spread through a small talk. Many people are gaining knowledge about this community. Still there are people who are not that much happy about this community and judge them. But by talking this problem can be solved.
