                                                          SAME SEX MARRIAGES The rise in support for same-sex marriage over the past decade is among the largest changes in opinion on any policy issue over this time period. A new national survey finds that much of the shift is attributable to the arrival of a large cohort of young adults – the Millennial generation – who are far more open to gay rights than previous generations. Till now there are a total of 30 countries that have lifted the ban on same-sex marriages. Most of them are developed nations mainly from Europe and America.                   LGBT: REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH & FAMILY PLANNING In-depth interviews with a diverse sample of 39 female-assigned-at-birth individuals (ages 18-44) was conducted, who also identified as lesbian, bisexual, queer, and/or genderqueer, or trans masculine. Interviews were primarily conducted in person. We asked participants about their current reproductive health care needs, topics they felt researchers should pursue, and past reproductive health care experiences. Data were analyzed using a framework method, incorporating deductive and inductive thematic analysis techniques. Reproductive health care needs among participants varied widely and included treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome and irregular menses, gender-affirming hysterectomies, and fertility assistance.                    DISCRIMINATION OF THE COMMUNITY AT DIFFERENT PLACES                                             Violence against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people can start from bullying at school and goes to workplace harassment. Some LGBT people are literally beaten and killed for being who they're. If someone in your life has been a victim of a hate crime, contact the police, communicate a neighborhood chapter of the Anti-Violence Project (AVP) for added assistance.                       THE IMPACT THAT LGBT PARENTS HAVE ON THEIR CHILDREN Teenagers with same-sex parents said they felt more connected in school. Another study reports that children in gay and lesbian households are more likely to talk about emotionally difficult topics and are often more resilient, compassionate and tolerant. The same concerns that many heterosexual parents face when choosing to have children also face same-sex parents, including time, money, and the responsibilities of parenting. A strong genetic relationship suggests that LGBT individuals are "born this way," rather than choosing a lifestyle.                               DEVELOPMENT AND UPLIFTMENT OF LGBTQ COMMUNITIES Years ago we started to develop leadership in the LGBT community. We now have five LGBT groups and a group of sex workers who have come together to reflect on how to advance advocacy and advocacy concerns. It is time for the United Nations to become more proactive. CEDAW is one of the most powerful tools for defending women's rights. When you have strong UN mechanisms with a wide range of enforcement capacities, this can be one of the best things about LGBTI rights. The visibility of LGBTI people is   the ultimate driver of change, although in some places it can lead to job loss, loss of family support   and even life threatening.
